I headed in to Manchester today to take a few shots of the John Rylands Library on Deansgate. The low light conditions were extremely challenging given that the use of tripods aren't allowed. This meant having to shoot with a high ISO (often 800/1600), propping the camera on or against things or shooting hand-held.
Each month the library holds a photography tour; giving access to restricted areas of the library. I've signed up for October's event... hoping that they'll allow tripods! Here's the pick of today's images...
